How To Verify a 7-OH COA in Under 2 Minutes
You don’t need a chemistry degree to verify a COA. Here’s a 2-minute checklist.
Check 1: Lab Accreditation (15 seconds)
Look for “ISO/IEC 17025” on the document. If it’s not there, the test may not be reliable.
Check 2: Batch Match (15 seconds)
Compare the lot/batch number on the COA with the number on your product. They must match.
Check 3: Date (15 seconds)
The test date should be recent — within the last 12 months. Old COAs may not reflect current product.
Check 4: Potency Number (30 seconds)
Find the 7-OH concentration. Does it match what’s on the product label? Small variance (±5%) is acceptable.
Check 5: Pass/Fail (30 seconds)
Look for pass/fail results on heavy metals and microbial testing. Both should show “Pass” or “Not Detected.”
